The Austrian Academy of Sciences’ Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities (JESH) programme promotes cooperation between excellent young researchers from abroad and scholars in Austria. JESH offers an incoming programme for researchers from 61 different target countries as well as an outgoing programme for Austrian researchers.
Target group: early career researchers with a maximum of 10 years of research experience following completion of their doctorate/PhD
Eligible institutions in Austria (JESH Incoming): institutes and departments at Austrian public higher education institutions, the Austrian Academy of Sciences and publicly funded research institutions
Eligible institutions in the 61 target countries (JESH Outgoing): institutes and departments at public universities, the national academies of sciences and publicly funded research institutions
